David Williams Designer Craftsmen in Marble and Granite are well known for not only creating marble worktops and granite surfaces that are unrivalled in their quality and craftsmanship, but also for producing beautifully proportioned, hand-made fireplaces that serve as the centrepiece of countless homes. David has dedicated his life to the ancient art of stone craftsmanship. He began his journey with granite, marble, and stone in the 1970s, training as a stone carver in Liverpool. He developed an unparalleled expertise that spans 50 years of experience.
What started from one man's passion for working with natural stone, evolved into a respected family business since 1976 that has become synonymous with quality and craftsmanship throughout the Wirral, and surrounding areas. A master carver, David's skills are often sought to create bespoke memorials, specialising in hand-carved, traditional lettering and headstones, restoration work and repair services and commissions for public spaces.
This is truly a family affair. Wife Jeannie brings her own expertise to the business operations, while son Charlie has followed in his father's footsteps as a senior craftsman, ensuring the family's commitment to excellence continues into the next generation. Together with a dedicated staff of six skilled craftsmen, they form a close-knit team that takes immense pride in every project.
